Project goals:
Project goals: Algebraic Topology (AT) is one of the central
and the most developed
mathematical disciplines. In recent years Applied and
Computational Algebraic
topology (ACAT) came into focus as one of the mathematical
fields with great
promise for applications in sciences and technology. The
general project goals are (a)
the exchange of ideas and building the expert base for joint
projects in selected areas
of ACAT, (b) training of young scientists in the area of ACAT,
(c) integration into the
European ACAT networks.
