Ivan Gutman: Dragos Cvetkovic and Theoretical Chemistry
Although not a chemist, Dragos Cvetkovic made several
significant contributions to theoretical chemistry (where
graph spectra are extensively used in the so-called Huckel
molecular orbital theory). The history of Cvetkovic's
encounter with chemistry (which coincides with his
encounter with the author of this paper) is described,
and his chemically relevant papers surveyed. The
impact of Cvetkovic's chemical contributions to the
work of other scholars is poihted out.
