- Full Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical engineering, since 1981.
- Chairman of the Division of Fluid Mechanic, since 1988.
- Member of the Yugoslav Society of Mechanics (being Secretary General, and
President, two times both).
- Member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, since 1997
(corresponding member since 1985).
- Chairman of the Mechanics Colloquium at the Mathematical Institute of the
Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, since 2000.
- Member of the Council of Yugoslav Society for Applied and Industrial
Mathematics.

gas dynamics of micro-channel flows, fluid-structure interaction, etc.
