The treaty accomplished after 1737-1739 war between Austria and Turkey. According to regulations of this treaty, Austria had to return northern Serbia and Little Wallachia to Turkey, and the new frontier followed the courses of Sava and Danube . A special regulation dealt with the right of Austria to disable Belgrade fortress, under the condition that removal of new ramparts must not damage the old fortification systems.
