Second Serbian Insurrection - 1815
After the collapse of
First insurrection
, the ensuing Turkish
violence has caused further rebellions. One of the leaders,
Miloš
Obrenović, although opposing to direct conflict with Turks, stood up
ahead the people and after several victories (Ljubić, Dublje)
started the negotiations. This process was actually accomplished
only in 1830, when Turkey agreed to guarantee the autonomy of the
Principality of Serbia and acknowledge
Miloš
Obrenović as hereditary
prince, under the pressure of international circumstances.
