SEMINAR ZA RAČUNARSTVO I PRIMENJENU MATEMATIKU

Upravni odbor Matematickog instituta SANU je na nedavnoj sednici doneo odluku da se dosadasnji Seminar za primenjenu matematiku, sada nazove Seminar za racunarstvo i primenjenu matematiku, a u cilju potenciranja znacaja racunarstva kao jedne od oblasti delatnosti Instituta. Istovremeno, Upravni odbor doneo je odluku o osnivanju Odeljenja za racunarstvo i primenjenu matematiku i vezao rad novog odeljenja za rad Seminara za racunarstvo i primenjenu matematiku.

AUTOMATSKO GENERISANJE ALGORITAMA STABALA ODLUČIVANJA ZA KLASIFIKACIJU
Rezime: Algoritmi za stabla odlučivanja su modeli klasifikacije objekata na osnovu osobina i u literaturi postoji dosta varijacija ovog pristupa. U ovom radu se izučava komponentni pristup algoritmima, koji ih predstavlja kao kompoziciju delova koji se mogu razmenjivati, kako bi se dobre osobine jednih algoritama kombinovale sa drugim. Novi algoritmi se mogu generisati pretragom prostora mogućih komponentnih algoritama, što je realizovano primenom metaheuristike evolutivnih algoritama. Eksperimentalna provera potvrđuje efikasnost i efektivnost pristupa, u odnosu na poznate optimalne, kao i benchmark rezultate. Dodatno se analizom može uvideti i koji delovi algoritma su ključni za performanse, i omogućiti lakša unapređenja i poređenja algoritama.

POVEZIVANJE HETEROGENIH PREKRIVAJUĆIH MREŽA
Rezime: Na predavanju će biti predstavljeni definicija i verovatnosna ocena uspešnosti pretrage prilikom koriđćenja heterogenih prekrivajućih (overlay) mreža. Biće prikazani opisi protokola Kord (Chord) i Sinapsa (Synapse).

ENGINEERING THE SIMPLEX ALGORITHM FOR THE DATAFLOW ARCHITECTURE
Abstract: The dataflow architecture is gaining momentum in many areas of computation. Most of the current successful application deal with physics modelling, whereas in our work we want to experiment with algorithms for mathematical programming and combinatorial optimization.
During the talk we will present an implementation of the simplex algorithm and empirical results demonstrating the advantages and the drawbacks of the dataflow paradigm for this type of applications.

E-BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES FOR XRM: EXPLORING THE READINESS OF PUBLIC BROADCASTERS
Abstract: This paper examines the possibilities of enhancing relationship management between public service broadcasters and their stakeholders by harnessing the potential of newest e-business technologies and concepts, such as: social media, digital and interactive TV, and mobile computing. In order to facilitate adoption of relationship management strategy, a framework for leveraging relationship management is proposed. Evaluation was performed within the e-business system of a public broadcaster. This empirical study explored the readiness and expected bene ts of relationship management implementation. The research results have indicated that a public broadcaster could achieve a higher level of social responsibility, improve business sustainability, and empower communication and collaboration with all the stakeholders by using emerging technologies for relationship management activities.
