TORIC PERSISTENT TOPOLOGY IN COMBINATORIAL GRAPH THEORY
The methods of the persistent topology appeared due to the development of tools for Big Data analisis. They aim to calculating the classical algebraic-topological invariants of sequences of embedded simplicial complexes. The first part of the talk presents the results about invariants of the toric topology in this problem. The second part of the talk will be devoted to the construction of characteristics for families of graphs.

THE INTRODUCTION TO THE CIRCLE METHOD
The circle method was developed to help tackle Waring's problem of representing integers as sums of k^th powers of natural numbers. It has since been used with success to various number theoretic problems of an additive nature. We will look at how the method works in a general sense, and subsequently look at how it has been applied to the Goldbach conjectures.
