UVOD U KOMBINATORNU TEORIJU MATRICA

Sadrzaj: Izlazu se osnovne ideje zasnivanja teorije matrica kombinatornim sredstvima, tj. sredstvima teorije grafova. Takav pristup je primenjen u nedavno objavljenoj knjizi: Brualdi R.A., Cvetkovic D., "A Combinatorial Approach to Matrix Theory and Its Applications", CRC Press, Boca Raton, 2008, a takodje u ranijoj knjizi: Cvetkovic D., "Kombinatorna teorija matrica sa primenama u elektrotehnici, hemiji i fizici", Naucna knjiga, Beograd, 1980; II izdanje, 1987. Kombinatorno zasnivanje teorije matrica je inspirisano tehnikom grafova toka signala (signal flow graphs) koja se koristi u elektrotehnici.

GAUSSIAN FOVEATION

Abstract: Humans relay mostly on visual information when they interact with the environment. How is it possible that the human brain is able to deal with such an amount of information? What image representations and processing models should be employed in humanoid-robots to operate on real environments? Part of the answer may be given by the irregular distribution of the cones on the human retina, that generate foveated images on the visual cortex, meaning, images with high resolution the center of the visual field and less on the periphery. Methods that transform the usual cartesian images on foveated are called foveation methods. On this talk, it will be introduced the most famous foveation method (the Super Pixel Approach) and presented a new framework: the Gaussian Foveation. Gaussian Foveation is based on a formal approach of the Human Vision, using tools from (basic) Operator Theory, Functional Analysis and Numerical Analysis, it is developed a methods for reconstruction, image transforms and others. The approaches will be compared on the quality of the reconstruction of the cartesian image, and on the problem of tracking one object during a period of time.

PREZENTACIJA MATEMATIČKIH REZULTATA UZ POMOĆ LATEX-BEAMER PAKETA

Sadrzaj: Vecina matematicara svoje rezultate zapisuje u \LaTeX\ formatu. Mnogi od njih jos uvek se susrecu sa problemom prikazivanja tako zapisanih rezultata na konferencijama, seminarima i drugim skupovima. Ovo predavanje je prilika da se upoznamo sa BEAMER bibliotekom koja omogucava efikasnu pripremu prezentacija na osnovu postojeceg \LaTeX\ teksta. Ova biblioteka je sastavni deo novijih verzija \LaTeX-a, a za starije se moze naci na Internetu.
