2 What is "Basic" education?

The word "basic" has been used widely and generally. Usually, "basic" means the basic knowledge that beginners should know first. For example, there are some levels which are attained by learning one after the other towards higher and more technical levels. "Basic" refers to important knowledge, techniques, and training in the first two levels. "KOHSEI" has such a particularity, and now is taught in many schools of Art and Design as basic education. However, in the position of "KOHSEI" as "Basic Art & Design", the effort should be made which not only treats questions which are easy for beginners as "Basic Art & Design", but also rather attaining a higher level of education through it with understanding.
