(2) Creating lines using points

Like horoscopes, points attract each other and make an invisible line. There are discussions about various problems in such cases through two sections.

· Attraction between closely located points is stronger than that of those with more distance. So by treating it deliberately, it is possible to show a fixed shape (Figs. 26, 27). And the attraction between points increases in proportion to the strength of the shape of the points (it is related to the area and the form). In the case of different sizes of points, a smaller point is attracted to a larger one.

Some points that have direction. For example, in the case of treating a short line such as an ellipse, one dimensional expression (the expression of creating a line) is possible by manufacturing the method of the structure (Figs. 29, 30).

Figure 31 is an example of creating a line by the efficient use of point size, and a strong direction by continuous changing sizes of points can be felt.

· The place where lines cross is an "intersection". However, points are not felt in formative arts. So by putting a clear point on the intersections of straight lines, Figure 28 emphasizes the intersections.
