(i) Expression using the conversion of a line into points with roulette.

KOHSEI (Basic Art & Design) with dotted lines are suitable to create works with soft, light, and delicate feelings. A method used in dressmaking is a tool which converts a line into points. When we draw a marking line on a cloth for cutting it, a weak line is preferred.

Figures 68, 69 are KOHSEI (Basic Art & Design) of dotted lines drawn on a piece of thin paper laid under a carbon paper using a roulette.
