MathArt 2003

The workshop The objective of this workshop is to present original
theoretical contributions and the scientific background of the concepts
and methods used or applied in the creation of works of art based on the
principles of the MathArt Manifesto.
There will also be the opportunity to discuss and present
the results and future developments and ideas in the field of MathArt.
There will be invited lectures of 45 minutes, short communications
of 20 minutes and discussions.
Abstracts of the contributions should be prepared as Word
documents, in rich text format (*.rtf), not exceeding half an A4 page and
submitted not later than 1 March, 2003, to
After the conference, the Proceedings of the Biennale
will be published in the journal Unus Mundus, published by the Nis
Cultural Centre.
Detailed information on the preparation of the papers
for the Proceedings will be given in the second announcement and with the
acceptance of the communications.
The official language of the workshop is English.
Computers, a video beam and overhead projectors are available
for the presentations.
