If you arrive by plane to the Belgrade’s airport – which is approximately 14 km distant from the centre – you could take a special JAT (Yugoslav Airlines) bus and get off at the last stop in front of Hotel SLAVIJA which is at walking distance (about 1km far) from Hotel METROPOL. The price of bus ticket is less than 2 $. In this case we advice you to take a taxi from SLAVIJA to METROPOL. If you arrive by railway the central station is about 2km from METROPOL. The tramway lines leading to METROPOL are 2 and 7. Again taxi is not expensive.
