Finalizing the completion of the FK5 catalog and aligning it with IAU1976 and MERIT standards, H. Schwan et al. (1987) have created
a program by using FORTRAN for calculating the apparent places of fundamental stars (APFS) for a given instant of Universal Time. 
Here you can find the executable program (application) apfs.exe. It allows, through input of the appropriate parameters into the 
PARAM.DEF file and the EXAM file (which contains a list of the observational objects - either a star or a planet), the download of the appropriate 
rectangular coordinates of the solar system's bodies, as well as the appropriate spherical coordinates and the proper motions of the stars of the catalog FK5,
from the attached files BARDATD.89 and FK5ALL.D, respectively. The original version of the program was modified by Dr Stevo Segan, who adapted it to the local needs.
