This year (2019) it will be the jubilary-75th birthday of Prof. Dr Katica (Stevanovic) Hedrih. Respecting her scientific work and her contribution to the area of theoretical and applied mechanics, nonlinear dynamics and history of mechanics, researchers from her team bring the initiative to organize a symposium titled “Nonlinear Dynamics - Scientific work of Prof. Dr. Katica (Stevanovic) Hedrih”.

Technical program

Symposium Topics:

·     Nonlinear phenomenon in mechanical systems

·     Nonlinear dynamics in engineering systems

·     Nonlinear dynamics in biological systems

·     Synchronization in nonlinear systems

·     Control and stability of nonlinear systems

·     Nonlinear vibrations and acoustics of structural and machine elements

·     Nonlinear wave propagation in mechanical systems

·     Micro/nano-electro-mechanical nonlinear systems

·     Slow-fast nonlinear systems and phenomena

·     Systems with structural nonlinearity

·     Energy harvesting using nonlinearity

·     Fluid mechanics

·     Nonlinear modeling of friction and damping

·     Vibro-impact processes and analysis

·     Experimental methods in nonlinear dynamics

·     Systems with time delay.

A two-page abstract for proposed presentation should be submitted before May 1th 2019

to the Symposium e-mail address: nd2019@mi.sanu.ac.rs.

The symposium aims to gather experts in the area of nonlinear dynamics and young scientists from all over the world  who work with nonlinear dynamics in various scientific fields.

Participation in this event is free.

There are no participation fees.

The Symposium Proceedings will consist both of a hard-printed and an electronic version of the Booklet of abstracts.

Selected extended abstracts will be invited for publication in a Special issue in a journal indexed in the Web of Science
