The research goals are in
upgrading of modern science in the field of pure, applied and
industrial mathematics and mechanics and contributing in a
significant way to an increase of global knowledge level, and
enabling wide range of knowledge applications in other fields of
applied and engineering sciences, with a special emphasis on
applications in industry. The research will be conducted in seven
subprojects:
- (A) Actual problems
of mechanics with applications,
- (B) Algebra,
- (C) Approximations,
numerical methods and optimization,
- (D) Differential
geometry with applications,
- (E) Mathematical
analysis,
- (F) Problems of
combinatorial topology with applications in discrete and
computational geometry,
- (G) Stochastic
analysis.
All together, 164
researches are engaged from all centers in Serbia, 105 of them
having Ph.D. degree.
In the first phase
research efforts on the subprojects will be directed in the
following ways:
- (A) Common questions
based on the mechanics theory, fluid mechanics theory and
obtaining of the new methods in the field of deformable
solid state mechanics with applications in engineering
and dynamics systems;
- (B) Obtaining a new
results in analytical number theory, linear algebra,
group theory, and group decomposition theory;
- (C) Development of
the new orthogonality concepts in the complex area, new
methods in numerical analysis,equations solving, parallel
algorithms implementation and obtaining of generalized
inverses;
- (D) Revealing of
characteristic classes and geometries of vector dividing
equipped with different structures;
- (E) Obtaining of the
new results in real, complex and functional analysis and
operator theory;
- (F) Revealing of
homotopic arrangements by the topological spaces diagram
method and estimation of the natural functions in
combinatorics and discrete geometry;
- (G) Research in
stochastic analysis, dynamic systems theory, stochastic
integrals and differential equations.
