Gradual change using a lattice which has gradually changing spacing (Figs. 516-519).

Since the basics of expression is a lattice with a gradational structure, a progressive rhythm can be composed automatically using it.

· The works of Escher were inserted in each clause of (i)-(iv). His uniqueness in the field of concrete expressions is based on introduction of these thinking methods. The activity of Vasarely is outstanding as an artist who uses non-concrete configurations.
