Professional position
I am a Research Assistant Professor at the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Belgrade, Serbia), working on high-performance algorithm design and evaluation. My research spans parallel and distributed computing, combinatorial optimization, and metaheuristic methods — with a focus on the development, analysis, and parallelization of metaheuristic algorithms such as Variable Neighborhood Search and Bee Colony Optimization for scheduling, routing, and related NP-hard problems.
