The workshop Approximate Algebraic Structures and Arithmetic Combinatorics will focus on various aspects of arithmetic combinatorics, such as the higher order Fourier analysis and the questions of finding arithmetic configurations, such as arithmetic progressions, and, more broadly, connections to other areas such as graph theory and probability.
The event is organized by the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade.

The Executive Committee of the International Commission on the History of Mathematics (ICHM) has unanimously approved Serbia’s reentry into the ICHM, following a 35-year absence. This return has been made possible through the initiative of the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MISANU), Serbia’s foremost research centre in the historiography of mathematics since its founding in 1946. MISANU’s Seminar for the History and Philosophy of Mathematics, Mechanics, and Astronomy has been active since 1981.
