Mirjana Stojanović was born on 18. December 1939. in Pančevo, where she completed primary and secondary school and type writing course. She worked in Serbian Academy od Sciences and Arts from 1962 and in Mathematical Institute SASA from 1988. She died in Belgrade on 21. June 2009.
