Prof. Dr Mileva Prvanović, member of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts passed away on February 12, 2016. She was the first assistant of the Mathematical Institute SASA, as well as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Publications de'l Institute Mathematique, the chairperson of the Geometrical Seminar at the Institute.
On 26th April 2016, the Managing Board decided to honour academician Prof. Dr Mileva Prvanović with the MISANU Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the development of the Mathematical Institute and mathematics in Serbia.
