PREDSTAVLJANJE KNJIGE "MATEMATIČKA DOSTIGNUĆA SLOBODANA SIMIĆA"
Knjiga "Matematička dostignuća Slobodana Simića", urednici F. Belardo, D. Cvetković, T. Davidović, Z. Stanić, Akademska misao, Beograd, 2019, daje spisak i prikaz radova i knjiga S. Simića i ekspozitorne tekstove o pojedinim aspektima Simićevog naučnog rada.
Slobodan Simić se bavio spektralnom teorijom grafova i drugim oblastima diskretne matematike. U okviru predavanja prikazaće se izabrane teme i rezultati naučnog rada S. Simića.

SISTEM ZA MERENJE BUKE U SAOBRAĆAJU ZASNOVAN NA MOBILNOM CROWDSENSINGU
U ovom predavanju biće predstavljen sistem za merenje buke u saobraćaju u pametnim gradovima zasnovan na mobilnom crowdsoursingu. Razvijeni sistem obuhvata mobilnu aplikaciju za prikupljanje podataka o buci u saobraćaju primenom oportunističkog i participativnog crowdsensinga, veb aplikaciju za analizu i vizuelizaciju prikupljenih podataka i cloud infrastrukturu za skladištenje podataka. Razvijeni sistem je evaluiran prikupljanjem podataka na pet odabranih lokacija u Beogradu. Izvršeno je preko 4000 merenja. Podaci su analizirani primenom statističkih metoda. Predložen je sistem za podršku odlučivanju zasnovan na rezultatima analize.

MEŠOVITA METRIČKA DIMENZIJA GRAFOVA
Predmet ovog izlaganja je nedavno uvedena grafovska invarijanta: mešovita metrička dimenzija. Na početku predavanja će biti uvedena definicija, opis kao i osnovne karakteristike date invarijante koje se mogu naći u literaturi. Zatim će biti prezentovani ilustrativni primeri koji pokazuju mešovitu metričku dimenziju nekih zanimljivih pojedinačnih grafova. U drugom delu predavanja, će biti pirkazani originalni naučni rezultati kandidatkinje, kao i pravci daljeg razvoja.

ADAPTIVE E-BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT: EVIDENCE FROM THE FINANCIAL SECTOR
This paper focuses on business continuity management in organizations that use modern e-business technologies: the Internet, mobile computing, e-services, and virtual infrastructure. The aim is to make the shift from traditional Business Continuity Management (BCM) towards “e-Business Continuity Management” (e-BCM) suitable for modern technological environments. We have defined a comprehensive framework for the implementation of an adaptive e-BCM adjustable to changes in the business environment. The framework consists of practical steps for defining elements of a business continuity management system: business impact analysis, risk assessment, and a business continuity plan. We have implemented and evaluated the framework within three financial organizations. The key finding is that Business Impact Analysis and the continual improvement of the Business Continuity Management System are the driving factors for the effective establishment of an adaptive e-BCM. The proposed framework is general, and can be applied to any organization that uses modern e-business technologies.

SELF-DRIVING CARS & AI: TRANSFORMING OUR CITIES AND OUR LIVES
Recent algorithmic and hardware improvements resulted in a number of success stories in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) impacting our daily lives. However, despite its ubiquity AI is only just starting to make advances in what may arguably have the largest societal impact thus far, the nascent field of autonomous driving. At Uber ATG we are working tirelessly towards this goal, aiming to transform the way we live and work through advances in self-driving technology, with AI at its core. In this talk I will present some of these efforts and discuss practical considerations for operating autonomous vehicles on our roads in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner.
