In this talk, we will dive into the fascinating history of the integer partition function and the profound impact that Srinivasa Ramanujan had on its development. Ramanujan’s groundbreaking work laid the foundation for many discoveries in the q-series and integer partition theory. We will explore how his unique insights continue to shape modern research and inspire new questions in mathematics which accessible for undergraduate students, offering a gateway into contemporary research in number theory.
