Expert advisor for the promotion and transfer of knowledge
Biljana Nedeljkov, BSc Mathematics

Development and constant growth of digital technologies and social networks have set new standards not only for commercial brands in industry and trading, but also for scientific research centres. Promotion and transfer of knowledge are becoming important disciplines that connect academic institutions not only with the economy and citizens, but also with other sciences. Interdisciplinarity and the application of science in real-world problems is one of the basic conditions imposed by the creators of today's public policies.

As one of the leading research centres in the field of mathematics, mechanics and computer sciences, the Mathematical Institute follows these trends as well as the trends in the field of science. Since the need for this type of activity was recognised, in the last two years, we have been working on creating a recognisable brand of the Mathematical Institute outside the scientific community and on increasing the visibility of the work and results of our sectors, both in Serbia and abroad.

Organisation of promotional activities, conferences and workshops, supporting researchers in writing and implementing projects, with special emphasis on dissemination, knowledge transfer and implementation, organisation of projects with the economy, promotion through social networks and other media, are just some of our activities that make the excellence of our researchers even more visible.
