MISANU Virtual Museum

The Museum of Old Computers and Devices

The Museum of Old Computers and Devices was established in 2020 at the initiative of Dr Zoran Ognjanović and Dr Vanja Korać. It is located at the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MISANU) in Belgrade. The museum houses a unique collection of historical computing devices, including items such as the NEC D8088D, ZX Spectrum 48k, and Commodore 64. The collection consists of items donated or gifted by the Institute’s members and collaborators, along with exhibits the Institute itself acquired and preserved over the years. The museum aims to preserve and showcase the technological heritage of past decades. It also serves as an educational resource, highlighting the evolution of computing technology.
